In June, I sold Websytz and Erotihost Hosting to an ISP owned by Starsky Bomer that I believed would be a benefit for everybody involved. This has not been the case. Over the last few months I have received many complaints of poor support and service. Additionally, and most important have been excessive billing problems. Any billing issue from before today should be addressed directly to your credit card company and disputed. We have no control over the Starsky Bomer's merchant account and cannot make those refunds. I urge you to immediately contact your credit card company for any double billing or incorrect billing that you have received. If you are no longer a customer of Websytz or Erotihost, please respond to this email so that we can delete you from our system. Once you do, we will verify that your site is not on our servers and you will no longer be contacted or billed. If you were billed after you cancelled, please contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. From this date forward, all charges made by us will show on your credit card statement as "Thunder Bay Hosting" or "Internet Venture Group". Any other charge needs to be disputed and reported as fraud. We will be running billing starting today. If you receive an invoice, or something is incorrect, please email us immediately and we will correct it. Please bear with us while we get the billing system cleaned up. On another note, Starsky Bomer had advised customers to move their web hosting accounts to his new "HSphere" server. He even went as far as to offer free vacations in exchange for this. What he was doing was moving these customers away from Websytz in an effort to "steal" these customers. If you were one of these customers, please be aware of the situation and let us know so we can take appropriate action. We do not want you to get double billed if you are no longer on our servers. The support database should be back up and running today and we hope to have everything cleaned up by the end of the weekend. If you email support@websytz.com, your email WILL be answered. You can also call us at 1-888-241-7339. I sincerely apologize for these problems and hope you can bear with us while we straighten things out. We will be providing all customers with a free month of service in exchange for this inconvenience. All annual customers will have a month added onto their service before renewal, and we will be giving all monthly customers a free month on their annual anniversary.
